When to contact us
The official model employment contract covers only the essential terms. Most companies need more – especially as the team grows or the law changes.
- You are starting to hire and want one reliable template for all roles.
- Contracts are filled in from different, outdated samples.
- You need clear terms on working time, remote work, bonuses or confidentiality.
- The Labour Code is changing and existing contracts need a review.
- You employ foreign nationals or managers who need specific terms.

The model employment contract was approved by Order No A1-343 of the Minister of Social Security and Labour in 2017. Its latest wording applies from 1 August 2022, so later Labour Code changes – for example on stating the working-time norm – must be assessed separately.
The model form covers the essential terms but leaves out many terms that matter to a company: confidentiality, non-compete, bonuses, remote work or working-time records. It is best to agree on them before a dispute arises.
